SPE Brazil FPSO Symposium: Sharing lessons learned and the next generation of FPSO
A high-level congress with the well-known technical quality of SPE.
The geographical conditions and the location of the main Brazilian reservoirs, notably the giant pre-salt fields, constitute an environment of particular use for FPSOs, due to several specific aspects, for which these units have significant advantages over other types of offshore oil and gas production installations.
Therefore, despite already having the most significant number of FPSOs in operation, for many years out of all international sedimentary basins, there still are accurate projections as to the entry of many other units into production in the short term future.
Based on this scenario, the Society of Petroleum Engineers of Brazil – SPE, through its Brazil and Macae Sessions, will hold the FPSOs – Floating Production and Storage Units symposium to bring together professionals from different areas involved for a broad exchange of experience, shared learning and integration of multidisciplinary knowledge, essential for the consolidation of the large chain of design, management and operation of these units, absolutely needed to the country in the coming years.
Due to ongoing public health concerns of Covid-19 and following extensive consultation with our key partners and stakeholders, SPE Brazil FPSO Symposium is postponed to August 25-26th, at Windsor Florida Hotel , in Ferreira Viana 81 St., Flamengo, Rio de Janeiro. Save these dates and be prepared to come and participate in one more technically outstanding event developed under SPE worldwide expertise in the O&G industry.
You can access the Home Page and analyze the Schedule and see the technical program with the speakers (from the leading petroleum companies as Petrobras, Shell, CHEVRON, Equinor, Total, Repsol, Enauta, MODEC, SBM, Halliburton, and Hilti).
